The Women Who Made Endless
The story of Endless is Rosie Gunn's to tell. But the energy that sustains it comes from the women who showed up — at events, in DMs, and under the aquarium at Atlantis.

The story of Endless is mine to tell.
The founder. The move. The suitcase. The first year doing everything alone.
That's the version that's true. And there's a part of it I don't talk about enough.
Along the way, the women who showed up - at events, in the DMs, at a yoga class under the fish at Atlantis - brought something to this that I couldn't manufacture. Not credit for building it. Something quieter than that. Energy. Proof. The feeling, in the moments that needed it most, that this was worth continuing.
I want to spend some time on that.
There's a morning that stays with me. We hosted a yoga and breakfast event at the Atlantis aquarium - underwater, as a collaboration with Sammy James, the founder of balmspace, who had just launched what I can only describe as the most beautifully considered single-product brand I'd come across. One balm, endless uses. She'd asked us to celebrate with her, and we said yes immediately.
The women who came that morning arrived as strangers and left as something else. They moved together in a space that was genuinely extraordinary - manta rays overhead, the quiet of that aquarium, the sense that this was not a normal Tuesday in Dubai. Some of them had followed Endless for months. Some had never been to an event. A few had barely used the platform.
That morning wasn't about the rentals. It was about the room. And the room was the business.
I've been honest, in other places, about why I started building community so deliberately at Endless.
Where I have felt lonely, unseen and unsupported throughout my journey, I want women in our community to feel the opposite: empowered, valued, unstoppable.
That's not a brand line. It's the actual reason.
The loneliness of the early stages is something most founders talk about in retrospect, if at all. I felt it clearly. I was doing jobs I'd never done before, in a city I hadn't grown up in, building something that didn't have a clear template. The women who reached out - to say they'd worn an Endless dress to a dinner, to ask when the next event was, to introduce their friend - those messages were a lifeline I hadn't known to ask for.
So I built the community I wished had existed for me. Not as a growth strategy. As a genuine act of wanting something better for the women coming after.
There was a Saturday where we set sail with our community on a yacht in the Marina - Seven Yachts had come in as collaborators, Pearl Rosé was on board, and the day was the kind of thing that sounds too good to be true when you describe it but felt completely natural when you were living it. Women who had known each other for years. Women who had just met. Women who had come alone and found their people on the water.
I built the event. The energy in that space was theirs to add to - and what they brought to it is the reason it still stays with me.
The following month: Mat Pilates at La Cantine Beach in Bluewaters. Twenty women on mats in the morning light. The kind of event that has nothing to do with fashion and everything to do with what we're actually building.
None of this is accidental. But none of it is entirely deliberate either.
What I've learnt is that when you build something honest - when the photography is made for the woman who'll wear the dress, when the communication sounds like a person and not a brand, when the follow-up feels like it comes from someone who actually cares - community forms itself around that.
I didn't plan for Endless to become the thing women introduced each other to. I planned for it to be a platform worth using. The community came because the intention behind the platform was genuine.
If you've been part of this - come to an event, worn an Endless dress to something that mattered, brought a friend, messaged me on a slow Tuesday to say something kind - you are part of what keeps this worth building.
The founder story is the real story. But the energy that sustains it comes from the rooms we fill together.
I'm glad we get to keep doing it.
